I’m Jeremy Finkenstadt — and I believe sustainable change starts small.

I didn’t set out to become a personal trainer. At 20 years old, I was struggling through a rough breakup and some heavy mental health challenges. A college professor suggested I look into nutrition and training as a way to feel better — and it worked. I got off my medications, felt more in control, and started rebuilding myself from the inside out.

That journey lit the fuse. I took a job cleaning floors at a gym just to stay close to the atmosphere that helped me heal. But a few weeks later, I suffered a major ankle injury playing beer league hockey that put me out for nearly two months. I watched myself start to backslide — until a trainer and a physical therapist at that same gym stepped in to help me rehab and rebuild.

That experience showed me just how powerful fitness can be — not just physically, but mentally. I knew then I wanted to do the same for other people.
